Ah, E3. The Electronics Entertainment Expo. There isn’t a single video game geek out there in the world that doesn’t look forward to this time every year with rapt enthusiasm waiting with baited breath for the coolest new games and gaming devices to be announced, and rarely (if ever) does it disappoint.
This year however, with consumer VR just on the horizon, has proven to be a little more exciting than most; and with Oculus founder Palmer Luckey having finally revealed what the company has been working on as a solution to VR input, and while some people may not agree (check out this article on how Iribe told Nathan Grayson from Kotaku that touch is built for games and not designed for adult experiences) we think it looks to be pretty exciting for VR Porn lovers (aka: the readers of this blog) as well!

Dubbed “HalfMoon” throughout its development phase, Oculus Touch is a pair of very sleek looking controllers which feature analog sticks (1 per), hand and index triggers and a couple of buttons, along with 1:1 tracking precision (which means virtual boob fondling and lifting up skirts will not be limited to Vive) and perhaps most surprisingly gesture recognition, which allows for predefined gestures such as pointing a finger or giving a thumbs up; and while not quite as analog as we had hoped (two in the pink & one in the stink is likely a little more complex than the device can handle) it’s a heck of a start and if it performs as well as recent reports have suggested, the possibility of fingering or fisting (or thumbing?) somebody in VR, or grasping at some naughty bits, is just around the corner.

It has been announced that the CV1 will begin shipping with an Xbox One controller in Q1 of next year, with the Touch controllers being available as a separate purchase sometime in the following months before June is out; and while we still don’t have any details on price as of yet, it is something that we would definitely set aside some money for.

One thing’s for certain, 2016 is going to be an amazing, and expensive year for VR gamers!

So what do you all think? Will Touch provide enough interactivity to keep VR Porn seekers satisfied until something better comes along?
