What makes this technology stand out is the fact that it can incorporate and part of the body into the hologram video. This has been put to play in a video released by PrimaVR that shows the lower body of a male viewer interacting with a female hologram. This not only eliminates generic 3D avatars but also makes the role of being a pornstar in the virtual world immensely immersive. It makes the experience both realistic and relatable. PrimaVR plans to make the holograms react to the viewer’s presence is expected to catapult this technology to higher heights. The idea of fully interactive hologram actors is on the verge of becoming a full-blown reality.
PrimaVR has come up with affordable hologram filming technology. This technology is expected to change production and consumption videos in the adult entertainment industry. The company has announced that it intends to further develop the technology further to enable the use of multiple sensors to capture actors. It also looks forward to also develop efficient compression formats that will help stream hologram content. PrimaVR software at the moment runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7,8,10. To operate Oculus Rift, one requires a DX11 graphics card and, at least, Oculus Runtime 0.7.0.0 beta. Their integration requires a computer with Intel Core i5 and GeForce GTX 660.
