We can say that virtual reality has a pretty good leg to stand on right now. From the beginning things were shaky as to how the future of virtual reality would hold up. Many people still argue that it’s just a fad and will blow over. Everyday there are new technologies created to boost virtual reality more and more into the future.
College campuses now use virtual reality to recruit students, museums offer private tours with virtual reality headsets. You can take a virtual vacation to get away from the office and relieve some stress. We also know that you can watch lots and lots of porn in virtual reality to relieve stress too.
One of the big races right now in the world of virtual reality is to be able to feel the environment around you. We are now able to be transported to another world with virtual reality but we still want to take it to the next step. We want to feel the environment around us.
Being able to reach out and touch this great imaginary world has brought arguments from many people both for and against this technology. For years cyberbullying has been an issue and still hasn’t been able to be brought down to a sensible level. With being able to touch the environment around us in virtual reality this brings up the point of being not only sexually harassed but also physically sexually harassed. There are many social virtual reality websites out that are social playgrounds where many people go to escape. For now many of those people are just being harassed through chat. When you are able to physically touch them now this brings on many new realms of physical harassment.
If you are a subscriber of the many great social sex websites out this new technology is a plus. There are websites like 3DX Chat that are compatible with the fleshlight vstroker to allow you to control the sex scenes in this 3d virtual reality porn environment. Now when you strap on your Oculus Rift you will not only be able to control the action you will be able to touch the women as well. If you are paying to be in an interactive world, allowing you to touch your environment is more than a plus it should be a standard.
There is a new device that should be coming out soon that claims to be able to allow you to touch and feel your environment in virtual reality. The Hapto looks like some kind of glove that Mega Man would wear. With the Hapto you should be able to push, pull, grab, and tickle in virtual reality. The hand sensor also incorporates a vibration sensation.
Hapto has a pre order special where you can order the sensor for $129 instead of $249 which is the retail price. It comes in three different designs; white and orange, white and black, and black and orange. The Hapto claims to not only be a sensory device but it replaces other controllers as well.
The Hapto has 20 pushers inside to help simulate the many varying degrees of objects to give you a more realistic feel in virtual reality. Hapto is compatible with any gear for the PC (including Oculus Rift and HTC Vive) as well as any Android mobile devices such as Samsung Gear VR, Google Cardboard, Google Daydream View, Merge – VR Goggles. In the future they plan to provide compatibility with Mac and iOS. If the Hapto is compatible with mobile headsets too this is a great advantage to those of us who do not have an expensive virtual reality headset.
Right now the University of California in San Diego is also experimenting with being able to touch things around you in virtual reality. They are still in the prototype phase so they are not able to feel the environment or feel any resistance. You are able to manipulate your environment with the glove that they have produced. Currently they are testing it by playing a virtual keyboard. The glove has a soft exoskeleton with soft robotic muscles which make it lighter and more agile than the other gloves that are used for virtual reality.
One of the things that makes these gloves so unique is that they are 3d printed. This makes them cheaper to produce and lighter to use. Ultimately they would like to be able to make a glove that is more user friendly and can truly enhance your virtual reality experience.
